L D Lewis
L. D. Lewis is a Locus Award-winning and Shirley Jackson Award–nominated writer of speculative fiction. She is the author of A RUIN OF SHADOWS (Dancing Star Press, 2018) and THE DEAD WITHHELD duology (Neon Hemlock, 2025), and her published short fiction and poetry includes appearances in a number of online publications, anthologies, and the OUT THERE SCREAMING anthology edited by Jordan Peele and John Joseph Adams. She pays the bills as a literary nonprofit administrator and past lives include roles as a founding creator and project manager for the World Fantasy and Hugo Award–winning FIYAH Literary Magazine as well as researcher for the LeVar Burton Reads podcast. Her debut novel YEAR OF THE MER is forthcoming from Saga Press and Titan Books in April 2026.
