Sadie Thibodeaux
SECRETARY
Originally from Louisiana (the state, not the town), Sadie Thibodeaux relocated to Columbia in 2004 and has been growing roots ever since. Raised within her family’s photography business, it was clear to her at an early age that she wanted some sort of creative career. While attending SCAD to earn her BA in Photography, Sadie discovered a love for design that has grown throughout her career. In 2017, Sadie found her ideal position pushing pixels, plus a little photography sprinkled around, as a graphic designer, photographer, and Director of Photography for COMO Magazine and Columbia Marketing Group. A bonafide cat person, Sadie lives in a very full house with her boyfriend, Alex, their six cats (Jack, Morrie, Maggie, Sammie, Jules, and Turk) and their dog, Charley (whom Sadie has come to view as just another cat.) -

Joe Marshall
Joe Marshall is a long time Columbia resident, but originally hails from Ireland. He is a craftsman by trade, designing and building award winning custom furniture which can be found in homes and boardrooms across the United States. He has always loved story and holds a particular fondness for Irish writing: everything from classical work by James Joyce, Sean B Keene, and Flan O’Brien to more modern work by Claire Keegan, Kevin Barry, and Billy O’Callaghan. Writing has been a hobby for years, but upon being introduced to members of Columbia’s literary community, became a more important part of his life. Their encouragement helped him complete his first novel, which he hopes to publish soon, and begin work on two more and several short stories.

Faramola Shonekan
A native of Columbia, MO, Faramola Shonekan starts her days off with a brisk run on the MKT Trail and allots herself a single cup of coffee every morning. Having grown up in Columbia, Faramola has had the privilege of experiencing Columbia as a daughter, a student-athlete, and now, an adult. While running Track and Cross Country, Faramola received her B.A. in History and Communication at the University of Missouri before becoming the lucky recipient of the 2020 MU Mark Twain Fellowship, which allowed Faramola to study abroad for one year and receive her Masters in Global and Imperial History at the University of Oxford. During her time at the University of Missouri, Faramola had the honor of being one of the founding staff members of Columbia’s beloved local independent bookstore, Skylark Bookshop. Speaking of books, she loves reading as much as she loves breathing, so much so that she started a book blog during the pandemic! She is also challenging herself to write more, as she finds that she has a lot of thoughts that she should probably put down somewhere, and paper is likely a good place to start. Serving on the Unbound Board is not the only festival that Faramola is involved in, as she is also the Director of Community Partnerships and Education at Ragtag Film Society, which encapsulates Columbia’s local gem, Ragtag Cinema and the celebrated True/False Film Fest. Faramola is also currently attempting to develop a green thumb by taking in various plants and trying to keep them alive. Faramola can be found with her trusty 50 oz water bottle that she is tasked with finishing by the end of the day, and if you find her without it, you have her permission to admonish her and remind her that there are no excuses when it comes to hydration.
